Our 2025 Summer Fete, in partnership with the Enham Alamein Parish Council, took place on Saturday 13 September on the Enham Alamein Village Green.  We were overjoyed to welcome hundreds of fete-goers to this year’s festivities and see firsthand how our community can rally together to support our all-important work year-on-year.

The Fete was officially opened by Councillor Ian Jeffery, Deputy Mayor of Test Valley, followed by a live set from local singer Jake Ward. Dance group Move Momentum then took to the stage and showcased a dance performance, as well as hosting a dance workshop, encouraging spectators to enter the arena and get involved.

It was then time for the return of our much-loved Dog Show. From the Waggiest Tail to Golden Oldies and Best Rescues, we had a pawsome time meeting all our VIP’s (Very Important Pooches).

The green was buzzing with a wide variety of food, drink, games and gifting stalls and our Radio Enham DJs kept the tunes flowing throughout the afternoon. It was fantastic to see the DJ’s showcasing their talents to such a large audience, providing an uplifting atmosphere for all.

“It was cool, it was really good and nice to tell everyone about what I do in radio. It was a brilliant time and we made up for the weather. It was lovely to participate and let people know what I do and share the time with one of my friends in radio.”

Whilst the rain did make a brief appearance, we didn’t let this dampen our spirits. The show went on and concluded with our Scarecrow Competition awards (kindly sponsored by Atwood Electrical) and our raffle draw. Congratulations to everyone who won a prize!

“Once again we are so proud and impressed with the strength of community spirit on show at this year’s Fete. Despite the unpredictable weather, everyone enjoyed a fun filled afternoon, with lots of smiles on display from start to finish. It’s a real testament to the community here at Enham, and the power of collaboration and teamwork, coming together across the village to put on a truly fabulous event enjoyed by all.”

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported our Fete this year, from the fantastic arena entertainment to our stallholders, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who came along to see us. Thanks to you, we raised a grand total of £4,297.80 which will go towards helping disabled people to live, work and enjoy life to the full.

We look forward to welcoming you all again to our upcoming ‘Christmas at Enham’ event on Saturday 29 November, followed by re-opening the gates to our ‘Pick Your Own’ Christmas tree field on 30 November.
