Temporary road closures for Enham Summer Fete We will once again be closing Chapel Lane and the bottom portion of Anton Lane that runs alongside the village green for our Enham Summer Fete this year. The event will take place on Saturday 13 September from 12pm – 4pm on the Village and Church Green. Check out what we have in store for the local community to enjoy at this year’s fete: Enham Summer Fete | Enham Trust. Chapel Lane will be used for residential access to Chapel Lane, Anton Lane and Hamless Gardens only. Anton Lane will be used for pedestrian access only. Closing these roads helps us to ensure the safety of our event attendees and manage parking throughout the village, encouraging all visitors to park in our designated car parks and avoid on-street parking around the fete site. A member of the fete committee team will be manning the temporary barriers put in place at the bottom of Chapel Lane during the road closures. They will control vehicle access for residents and visitors to Chapel Lane, Anton Lane and Hamlett Gardens As always, the committee team will do their very best to minimise disruption caused by the event to our village residents. We would however like to remind residents that traffic throughout the village will be busier and noise levels higher than usual on the day. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the road closures or the event itself prior to the day, please get in touch with our fete committee team by emailing [email protected]. If you have any concerns on the day of the event, you can speak to a member of the team directly or call the team on 07525 911037. Thank you once again for your cooperation and we hope to see lots of you at this year’s fete! Manage Cookie Preferences
